Sales & Export Co-ordinator

OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and highly organised Sales & Export Co-ordinator on behalf of our client to manage international client relationships and oversee the full export process from order to delivery. This role is key to enhancing operational efficiency and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with internal teams, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to ensure timely, compliant, and accurate deliveries, while acting as the central link between customers and our operations function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day sales order processing for export customers.
  • Act as the customer's advocate, ensuring accurate communication between sales and operations.
  • Prepare and verify all delivery documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with freight and shipping partners to meet delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal departments (Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) to align operations with customer requirements.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and the ability to quickly grasp key operational drivers in new environments.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain calm and effective performance under pressure, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure accuracy in all aspects of order processing and export documentation.
  • Use Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365 to manage orders, documentation, and customer records.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven background in sales support, customer service, or export coordination.
  • Knowledge of sales processes, order fulfilment, and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with export documentation, customs compliance, and international shipping processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and represent the business professionally.
  • Commercially astute, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Highly reliable, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Team-oriented, fostering collaboration across departments to achieve shared goals.
