Acorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Newport. We're looking for a Procurement Project Co-ordinator to join an innovative team on a fixed-term contract, playing a key role in bridging procurement and project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in procurement or purchasing who enjoys variety and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Co-ordination: Support projects from start to finish by managing scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and timelines.
  • Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Assist in negotiations, pricing reviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Purchase Order Management: Create, track, and manage purchase orders, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring accurate records.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across procurement, sales, design, and customer service to support successful project delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensure procurement processes align with company standards and external regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify ways to streamline procurement and project workflows for increased efficiency and cost savings.
About You:
  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or project co-ordination.
  • Ideally from a manufacturing or production background.
  • Strong communication and supplier negotiation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems independently.
  • Team player who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in using procurement and project management tools/systems.
