Involve Recruitment are partnering with a busy housing construction contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality residential developments. With a strong pipeline of new-build housing projects, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our clients commercial team and support the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost plans, budgets, and estimates for housing projects

  • Manage subcontractor procurement, including tendering, analysis, and appointment

  • Administer contracts, valuations, variations, and final accounts

  • Monitor project costs and cash flow, identifying and mitigating commercial risks

  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications

  • Assess subcontractor applications and manage payments

  • Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasts to senior management

  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, company procedures, and industry standards

  • Liaise with site teams, clients, consultants, and suppliers

Skills & Experience

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Proven experience working with a housing / residential construction contractor or commercially managed housing schemes.

  • Ideally experience managing schemes from £3 - £12 million.
