Due to continuous growth, they are seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer/ Engineering Team Leader to take a key role within their engineering team at a fully automated production facility.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Leader to lead a team of multi-skilled maintenance technicians within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will optimise plant performance, manage maintenance activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while ensuring operational excellence.

Engineering Team Leader Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
  • Plan, schedule, and prioritise daily and weekly maintenance activities, including preventative, planned, and reactive tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to maintain plant reliability and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Monitor maintenance procedures, engineering standards, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Administer and review maintenance systems for trend analysis, reliability metrics, and budgeting.
  • Act as a mentor and coach, fostering the development of the team and promoting the role of Engineering Team Leader across the organisation.

Engineering Team Leader Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading and managing maintenance teams in an automated or continuous process environment.
  • Multi-skilled across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineering disciplines.
