We are currently seeking a reliable Freight Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our client’s friendly team based in Dagenham. If you hold a valid counterbalance licence and have experience in warehouse and freight operations, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Position Details:

Working hours: Monday to Friday

  • Three days from 08:00 to 18:00
  • Two days from 08:00 to 17:00
  • Saturday mornings on a rotating basis: 08:00 to 10:00

Salary: Up to £28,572 per annum

Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
  • Manual handling certification
  • Experience in shipping or freight warehouse environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating forklifts within the warehouse
  • Loading and unloading trailers and domestic vehicles
  • Manual handling of light goods
  • Providing cover for colleagues during holiday or sickness periods
  • Assisting with order processing and administrative tasks
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace
