The Family Solicitor's Role
As a Family Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload of privately funded and legal aid family matters. You'll handle cases from initial instruction through to conclusion, including representing clients in negotiations and at court where required. You will work closely with clients from all backgrounds, maintaining the firm's strong reputation for providing accessible and high-quality legal services.
Duties will include:
Managing a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial disputes, cohabitation, and children proceedings
Preparing court documents, attending hearings, and liaising with clients, counsel, and third parties

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legal aid procedures where applicable
The Family Solicitor
To be considered for this Family Solicitor role, you should meet the following criteria:
Qualified Solicitor (minimum 2 years PQE) with experience in family law
Strong knowledge of private and public family law matters
Legal Aid experience is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication and advocacy skills
Able to manage a busy caseload independently
