Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to pupils with complex and diverse needs.
Use music to inspire learning, communication, and confidence across the curriculum.
Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure every child achieves their potential.
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and enrichment activities.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working as a SEN Music Teacher or in a special needs setting is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of strategies to support pupils with autism, speech and language difficulties, and other complex needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for inclusive education and the power of music to transform learning.
