A vibrant and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Newham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher across all areas of the curriculum

  • Working with pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basis

  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities

  • Helping to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Supporting children with additional needs, where required

  • Promoting positive behaviour and social development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with primary-aged children (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with children

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or similar) is desirable but not essential
