About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work within a well-established infrastructure business on a high-profile project. You will be a key member of the commercial team, using your extensive knowledge of NEC contracts to ensure the successful financial management of the project to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy:Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies for various work packages, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project goals
  • Administering the NEC contract, including managing compensation events and claims.
  • Providing commercial support and advice to the project team.
  • Managing and controlling project costs and budgets.
  • Preparing and submitting interim payment applications.
  • Negotiating and agreeing final accounts.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong and practical knowledge of NEC contracts is essential.
  • Experience in managing projects from start to finish.
  • Relevant degree and/or professional qualification (e.g., RICS) is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
