  • The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to analyze data, with a Basic Disclosure required, which the client will cover.

Our client is looking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor - please note this is a Contract post for approximately 4 months. The role is full time, Monday to Friday 9 - 5.00 pm. Hybrid working is available but a few days will be office based each week. Reporting to the HSE Manager, this is a support role.

Due to a increase in work load, our client is looking for an HSEA to come in and assist with Policies, Training Plans, reviewing and updating processes and procedures. Experience of working in aviation is very beneficial for this role due to the complex processes and highly regulated environment.

Only candidates that are available immediately and who can commit to a 4 month contract should apply. Candidates should also be living in the Inverness area and have their own transport for when travelling to the office is required.

HSE professional with NEBOSH Diploma, relevant degree and/or equivalent qualification with experience of practical application of HSE management (strategic and operational) practices, standards, system and processes.

Essential criteria:

3 years post qualifying experience in a safety managerial position with demonstrable experience of safety management in related industry.

Membership of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at Grad IOSH Level.

Qualification and experience in health and safety auditing.

Experienced in IT and organisational skills with the ability to accurately analyse and interpret data.

Experience of accident and incident investigation.

Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal).
