Client Manager

Join one of our leading accountancy practice clients' firms, which is currently expanding its team due to company growth. They are seeking a qualified Client Manager with a robust background in accounts preparation, management reporting, and proficiency in Xero and Excel. Experience with ecommerce or manufacturing clients will be an advantage.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Ensure the completion of management reporting, reviewing VAT returns, and statutory accounts (review only, no preparation).
  • Manage and oversee the work of one bookkeeper who will report directly to you.
  • Engage actively with existing clients to maintain and enhance relationships.
  • Adapt and learn new systems and technologies to improve service delivery.
  • Participate in thrice-yearly meet-ups in various cities such as London, Glasgow, and Manchester, fostering team collaboration and networking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified accountant preferred, although nearly qualified candidates will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and management reporting.
  • Proficient in using Xero and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in ecommerce or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to work fully remotely and integrate with different systems and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
