Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a fantastic organisation in Darlington on the appointment of an Interim Management Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that Regional and Divisional P&L and balance sheet accountsare accurately recorded in the month-end accounts on a timely basis
- Ensuring that revenue, payroll and cost accrual/prepayment journals are posted accurately and on time
- Preparing accurate and insightful management accounts with appropriate KPIs; including revenue and margin analysis.
- Ensuring that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled in line with agreed timescales.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for assigned divisions, working closely with Commercial Finance and Group Finance teams.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and costings to support divisional performance and decision-making.
- Support the implementation of new financial and operational systems to streamline and automate month-end processes.
- Maintain a strong focus on delivering actionable insights and reporting issues that could drive improved business performance.
Experience
- Part-qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Strong financial reporting skills.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
- Have a keen eye for detail.
- Organised and structured, ensuring all deadline are met.
- Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
