We are a destination pub & restaurant with a growing reputation for good food and a good selection of drinks. We're looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team, creating high quality seasonal and themed dishes and contributing to the success of our food offering.

The ideal candidate will be professional and enthusiastic with experience in a similar role as well as the ability to support continuous improvement and development of our menus and dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to high standards of food preparation, storage and production.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
  • Contribute to the creation of exciting seasonal and themed menus using fresh, local ingredients.
  • Support a timely, cost-effective ordering system.
  • Work closely with Management to drive the success of the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute positively to a team environment that encourages collaboration and creativity.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
  • Great work ethic and willingness to consistently work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • A passion for cooking and delivering a memorable dining experiences for guests.
