Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Advisor to join a busy and supportive team based in Darlington. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative and communication skills, looking for a role with consistent weekday hours. The position is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming customer queries via phone and email
- Obtaining and processing Purchase Order (PO) numbers
- Scanning and accurately filing documentation
- Investigating and resolving customer issues efficiently
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and updating systems
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or admin-based role
- Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
