As the Reverse Logistics & Hygiene Manager you will manage the recycling and hygiene teams, and processes. Ensuring all recycling is processed within guidelines, hygiene levels are maintained and carried out in a safe and efficient manner complying with AIB/DQMP standards, in accordance with the Food Hygiene, Health & Safety Legislation, and within Company procedures.

Description

You will be one of the first on the team at our-brand-new Darlington distribution centre, shaping the future of the business from the start.

Managing a large team, working in a multi-temperature food storage environment you'll be responsible for recycling processes and site hygiene standards.

Your main duties will include:

  • Empathetic leadership, managing, motivating and developing your team.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment for all.
  • Ensuring hygiene processes are carried out correctly and all pest control procedures are followed and recorded effectively.
  • Assisting with improving hygiene procedures, working practices and working efficiencies.
  • To work to, have knowledge of and actively promote AIB, DQMP and Workplace Organisation standards.

Profile

The successful candidate will be adaptable, with a focus on quality and safety.

They will enjoy leading a team will uphold the People First culture, fostering an environment of inclusion and equity across the business.

Previous experience of working in hygiene and/or recycling in a physically demanding multi-temperature FMCG environment is desirable.

Experience driving MHE's is essential, as is a good standard of maths and English and computer literacy, as this is role requires some administration and paperwork.

Please note some Working at heights and some heavy lifting will be involved
