Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for Permanent Account Director (All Levels: Junior to Senior). This role is Hybrid (regional travel as required). Our Client knows that great sales professionals come at different stages in their journey.

As you grow, you'll take on greater autonomy, increased responsibility, wider market influence - each level offers clear progression. Key Responsibilities & Role Expectations

Junior Account Director

Building strategic sales skills, growing in confidence with client relationships.

  • Work towards 6 apprenticeship starts per month
  • Proactively generate leads through phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking
  • Managing accounts, spotting upsell opportunities
  • Contribute to proposal development and tender responses
  • Deliver high-quality customer experiences
  • Build presence in the sector through networking events

Account Director

Managing a portfolio and delivering results. Taking full ownership of accounts, driving new business growth.

  • Aim for 7 apprenticeship starts per month
  • Build tailored acquisition strategies based on market research and insight
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects and strategic clients
  • Create compelling proposals and support tender writing
  • Partner with internal teams to co-create impactful solutions
  • Attending sector events and client meetings

Senior Account Director

Strategic leader/trusted advisor to high-value clients. Shape the company's presence in your sector.

  • Target 9 apprenticeship starts per month
  • Lead complex, senior-level client relationships with a long-term focus
  • Design and implement sophisticated go-to-market strategies
  • Write and lead tenders for opportunities of up to 5 starts
  • Use performance data/market intelligence to guide commercial decisions
  • Brand ambassador at events, panels, and industry forums
  • Influence internal product/delivery teams

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Proven success in strategic account management within apprenticeships, training, or a related service-led B2B environment
  • Consultative, insight-led sales approach
  • Writing tenders or bids and navigating procurement frameworks
  • Capable of approving qualified apprenticeship vacancies, maintaining low withdrawal rates and high learner retention rates
  • High level of quality, establishing/enforcing Apprenticeship standards, following processes/meeting company expectations
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge, participating in internal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking best practices
  • Communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial acumen, ability to translate client needs into sustainable, revenue-generating solutions
  • Self-motivated, outcome-driven, resilient in a dynamic market environment
  • A credible, engaging, and empowering ambassador
