Portfolio Payroll is collaborating with a well-established accountancy practice based in Darlington to recruit a Part-time Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to join a respected organisation who is rewarding and supportive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for own portfolio of client payrolls
  • Operating weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Obtain the relevant information from the client, process the information and send the final payroll and pay slips etc to the client
  • Arrange the BACS payment of employees for some of the clients
  • Dealing with client queries regarding payroll matters
  • Dealing with Auto enrolment; pension letters and uploads

Desirable skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in client payroll (Bureau/ Practice)
  • Proficient using Excel, Brightpay and Sage Payroll
  • Confident Communicator
  • Good eye for detail, and can work with precision
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
