Job Title: Estimator
Salary: 30,000 - 45,000
Location: Darlington
Sector: Structural Steel
Are you an experienced estimator with a background in structural or light gauge steel framing?
Would you like to work for a well known steel contractor with a great scope for progression?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing structural steel fabricator who specialise in delivering full turnkey, design and build structural steel projects across the commercial sector.
Your background in construction will be essential as you will be expected to provide technical advice to customers & suppliers.
Your responsibilities as a estimator:
- Produce detailed quotations from construction drawings
- Ensure tenders are submitted on time to a high standard
- Liaise with all other departments within the business
- Attend pre start meetings with architects & clients
We would welcome conversations with estimators who:
- Have a background estimating within the construction industry
- Are able to read from construction design drawings
- Can communicate across all levels to ensure commercial targets are met
- Possess a strong understanding of different software packages.
