We have an immediate requirement for an experienced temporary Welder to work for our Manufacturing client based in the Darlington area on a temporary basis
You will be welding component parts to specific drawing specifications within a sheet metal manufacturing environment. You will work to weekly production schedules and you will be expected to work to engineering standards and engineering principles.
You will ideally be able to MIG Weld but there will also be work for people with TIG experience. You must be able to weld to automotive quality standard (2-3mm) and you must have experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
Welding and Fabrication qualifications would be desirable, however if you can demonstrate experience within the workplace this would be acceptable.
The hours of work are on a 2 shift system of 6.00am - 2.00pm Monday to Friday and 2.00pm - 11.30pm Monday to Thursday and there may be some overtime available at weekends.
You will be required to have a weld test at the interview stage for this role.
