Role Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Beauty Tutors to join our Beauty Therapy team. You will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching for Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy courses (Level 4 qualification desirable) and play a vital role in supporting learners to achieve academic success and develop employability skills.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum

  • Support the Beauty Programme Manager in designing, reviewing, and updating curriculum and schemes of work.
  • Deliver inspiring and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners, ensuring maximum achievement at the earliest opportunity.
  • Develop innovative teaching and assessment strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Promote equality, diversity, British Values, and Prevent within all teaching.
  • Tailor programmes to meet individual learner needs.

Assessment & Learner Progress

  • Track and monitor learner progress, attendance, and performance.
  • Prepare documentation and practical activities for awarding organisation visits and external inspections (e.g., ESFA, Ofsted).
  • Provide constructive feedback to support learner growth.

Professional Contribution

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Beauty curriculum.
  • Engage in regular CPD to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and departmental activities.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience and results in teaching Beauty Therapy.
  • UK Teaching Qualification (DET, DTTLS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • IT proficiency (Word, Excel; familiarity with Manage Assess desirable).
  • Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend delivery.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • UK Assessor Qualification (A1 or equivalent).
  • UK Internal Quality Assurance Qualification (V1 or equivalent).
