Fresh People are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Line Leader to join a leading fresh produce business based in Dartford, Kent.
In this on-site role, youll be responsible for delivering the daily packing plan, ensuring orders are completed to customer specifications and company KPIs. If you have experience working in a production facility and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the packing line to meet production targets
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and carry out regular audits
Support and coach line operatives, providing training and feedback
Monitor line performance and maintain accurate job records
Ensure correct packaging, labelling, and quality standards are maintained
Coordinate start-up and shut-down procedures
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork
Minimum 1 years experience in a production or packing environment (ideally fresh produce)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident leading a team and giving clear instructions
Able to work effectively with cross-functional departments
Familiar with ERP systems (SAP, D365, Freshware) is an advantage
Understanding of quality control and customer requirements
