The Job
As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough fire risk assessments primarily within commercial properties, including offices and substations, across the Home Counties. You will play a crucial role in helping businesses and organisations stay safe and compliant with fire safety law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed Fire Risk Assessments in accordance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Identify potential fire hazards and provide practical recommendations for mitigation.
- Prepare comprehensive and clear assessment reports using provided assessment software on a tablet.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations, British Standards, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing expert advice and guidance on fire safety matters.
About You:
- You must hold a minimum Level 3 Fire Risk Assessor qualification.
- Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments on commercial properties, offices, and substations is essential.
- Open to over night stays every so often, expenses paid for
- A solid understanding of fire safety principles and relevant building regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- A full UK driving license.
