Description

Ensure timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
Maintain contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
Resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
Post and allocate daily receipts to accounting systems
Check and reconcile supplier statements
Process new account applications
Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage credit limits
Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

A solid understanding of credit control procedures
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
Strong communication and negotiation skills
An analytical mind with attention to detail
Good understanding of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
Relevant qualifications in Accounting & Finance
