TRC has teamed up with an excellent care provider who has a great presence in the south of England. With a number of care homes and hospitals already up and running, my client is continuously looking to expand and add experienced, passionate people to their team.

A role for one of their new homes has come up in Dartford. The home is small, with only 24 beds, with a mixture of complex needs. The home has recently been refurbished and is awaiting a quality registered manager to open the doors in the next few months.

The Role:
  • Direct line management of the Clinical Lead and ensuring arrangements are secured to ensure that this post holder receives appropriate levels of clinical supervision from the identified external party.
  • Train, supervise, appraise, line manage and retain all support staff for the service
  • Coordinate support worker rota
  • To be conversant with the Mental Health Act 1983 and awareness of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and associated Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
  • To be conversant with the main provisions of the Health and Safety at Work and the COSHH Regulations and to ensure that all staff adhere to the policies and procedures accordingly
  • Regular health and safety walks to ensure the environment is suitable for all our service users
  • Ensure that all residents are subject to ongoing MDT assessments to determine their individual needs, in order to accurately formulate care plans and risk assessments which are Person Centred.
  • Ensure CQC requirements are upheld at all times
