Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join a growing team based in Dartford. This role involves leading a team of electricians, ensuring all electrical work is carried out to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Your leadership and technical knowledge will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Qualified Supervisor:

  • Serve as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and participate in annual assessments.
  • Act as the liaison between NICEIC, internal teams, and clients.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations of electrical staff and subcontractors to ensure adherence to BS 7671 and relevant regulations.
  • Review inspection and testing documentation to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing.
  • Manage the distribution and tracking of electrical certifications and local authority notifications.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and maintain CPD records in line with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site-based electricians.
  • Carry out quality inspections, audits, and witness testing.
  • Maintain calibration records for all testing equipment.
  • Oversee planned installations and responsive maintenance tasks.
  • Mentor and train engineering staff to support their development.
  • Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and uphold service quality.

Essential Requirements for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Qualified Supervisor role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in certification software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Deep knowledge of BS 7671 and experience in inspection and testing.
  • Background in the social housing sector.

Qualifications for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor:

  • NVQ Level 3,
  • AM2,
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor:

  • ECS Gold Card (Approved Electrician).
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
