Fresh People are currently recruiting Multiskilled Operatives on behalf of a dynamic and fast-paced fresh produce business based in Dartford. This is a full-time, hands-on role working across the warehouse, ripening, and production areas.
As a Multiskilled Operative, youll play a key part in the safe, efficient movement of product and equipment throughout the facility. Youll follow structured processes and contribute to maintaining the highest health and safety standards on site.
What Youll Be DoingSupplying product and equipment to production lines safely and efficiently
Loading/unloading vehicles and storage areas using articulated trucks
Using Microsoft D365 to receipt, move, and dispatch stock
Operating handheld scanners to manage inventory and product flow
Strapping and scanning pallets, assembling customer orders, and moving stock
Replenishing packaging materials and maintaining clean, organised workspaces
Performing daily safety checks and adhering to site H&S procedures
Reporting hazards, accidents, and incidents in a timely manner
Ensuring all waste is correctly stored and disposed of
Supporting supervisors and line managers with ad hoc tasks
Experience in a warehouse or packing environment
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence essential
Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
Team player who can work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Good understanding of written and spoken English
