Description
- Handle accounts payable for various entities within the company.
- Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders.
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries.
- Process business expense returns.
- Cashbook and petty cash cheques.
- Maintain filing system to ensure that all documents are appropriately stored and can be easily retrieved.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
- Proven Purchase Ledger experience.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
