HR Coordinator

Our client is a global leader in the fresh produce industry, operating in over 25 countries with facilities and distribution centres across the UK, the Americas, and beyond. As part of ongoing growth, they are expanding their HR team at their dedicated UK HR site and are now looking for an HR Coordinator to join the business and support its people-focused goals

Role

This brand-new HR Coordinator role offers a great opportunity to join a growing business and help shape how HR supports its people. You'll be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, working closely with managers to keep processes running smoothly, support staff day-to-day, and help maintain a positive, people-first workplace.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the full employee journey , from new starters to leavers and everything in between
  • Helping to manage recruitment processes and onboard new team members
  • Generate regular reports on HR metrics such as absence, working hours, and staff turnover to support data-led decisions.
  • Complete compliance checks for temporary labour, new starters, labour providers, and in line with internal policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure HR policies are followed fairly and consistently across the business
  • Keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Assisting with internal HR projects, improvements, and initiatives
  • Supporting managers with policies, procedures, and legal compliance

Required

  • Around 2+ years of experience in a general HR role
  • Experience in food manufacturing or fresh produce is a big plus
  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards it)
