Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Kent | 25,000 - 27,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant with experience in Purchase Ledger to join our finance team based in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic working environment with clear development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Posting subcontractor and supplier invoices accurately onto Sage 200.
Ensuring all invoices sent for authorisation are returned promptly.
Resolving supplier invoice queries via phone and written communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Reconciling monthly supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Filing and maintaining Purchase Ledger documentation in an organised manner.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal operational teams.
Assisting the Finance Manager with any additional finance-related duties as required.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger role.
Familiarity with Sage 200 (or similar accounting software) is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
