Premier Work Support is currently recruiting for a Spray Painter for our prestigious client based in the Crayford area.

Key responsibilities of this role:

  • You may be required to work overtime from time to time to ensure there are no backlogs in these areas.
  • Making sure all components are spray painted to a high level of quality, with consistent coverage with no defects or imperfections.
  • Inspect painted items for defects, such as drips, runs or uneven coverage and correct any issues before the components move to the next stage of production.
  • Prepare surfaces of components by cleaning, sanding and priming them as required to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • regularly maintain and clean spray painting equipment,including spray gun,hoses,and filters to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Follow all safety protocols for handling hazardous materials,including wearing personal PPE.
  • Track and report paint and material inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are on hand for production.
  • Identify and troubleshoot painting issues,including problems with spray equipment,paint application,or defects in the painted surfaces.

Skills required for this role:

  • Previous experience as a spray painter or in a similar manufacturing role is highly preferred
  • Experience with painting metal or small components is desirable.
  • Proficiency in the use of spray painting equipment, including spray guns and air compressors.
  • Tablet / Computer Literate
  • Have full colour vision
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, including the safe handling of paints,chemicals and personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to stand,bend as well as work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve any paint related issues during production.

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm (30 Minute Lunch) Friday 07.00am - 11.15am
