Supplier and Product Quality Engineer - Dartford - Up to £37,000 per annum plus excellent benefits

As a Supplier and Product Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards that this company is renowned for. What You Will Do:

  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and product performance testing to ensure compliance with international standards and specifications.
  • Support the Head of Quality Assurance in developing and implementing the Supplier Assessment Process, including conducting on-site supplier audits.
  • Work closely with product developers to set product acceptance criteria and ensure standards are achieved with suppliers.
  • Participate in Value Engineering initiatives, liaising with suppliers and producing reports as required.
  • Manage goods inward inspections and maintain a program of calibration to ensure traceability of measured values.
  • Analyse customer complaints and product quality returns to drive continuous improvement in the supply base.

What You Will Bring:

  • A technical or engineering qualification: Degree, HNC or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Supplier Assessment and Audit processes.
  • Lead Auditor qualification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in key MS software, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally at all levels.
