The Role:
- Assisting fee earners with the management of residential property files, including both freehold and leasehold sales.
- Drafting legal documents, preparing contract packs, and managing client communications.
- Conducting pre-completion checks, managing post-completion formalities, and maintaining accurate file records.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to ensure a smooth conveyancing process.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks, including diary management and document filing.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, specifically handling freehold and leasehold sales files.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with conveyancing software and case management systems is a plus.
