Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Dartford, who are looking to recruit a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to develop their engineering skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing environment.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (BEng, MEng, HND, etc.)
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and problem-solving techniques
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Familiarity with engineering materials, manufacturing processes, and component design
- A keen interest in developing engineering solutions and learning on the job
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development
- Supporting the design and development of mechanical components and systems
- Assisting with the creation of technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs
- Working closely with senior engineers on ongoing projects
- Conducting testing and analysis of designs and prototypes
- Collaborating with other departments, including production and quality assurance
- Gaining exposure to different aspects of engineering, including design, manufacturing, and project management
