Are you a mechanical maintenance technician with experience working in a team, looking to join a company who offer structured career progression and complete in-house training to develop your skillset?

This company design and manufacture advanced precision components for the aerospace and defence industries. Operating out of multiple branches across the South of England for over 60 years, their team of highly skilled engineers and designers work with machines from Boosan to Mori Seiki. They are headquartered in Dartford, from their large scale engineering facility.

On offer is the opportunity to become a vital addition to the team. You will be maintaining and servicing the machines used in the workshop as well as the facilities of the factory. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team of technicians to fault find and repair any mechanical or electrical problems that arise throughout the facility.

This role would suit a mechanical technician with experience in a manufacturing setting, looking to join a company who will reinvest into your career development and provide an excellent benefits package.

The role:

  • Carry out routine and preventative maintenance on factory infrastructure
  • Cross factory working, travelling to the sister site in Tewkesbury, when needed
  • Emergency response to breakdowns, building faults, and ensure minimal disruption to production
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when necessary

The person:

  • Experience in a maintenance technician role, or similar, within a manufacturing company
  • Full UK driving licence
