About the Role
Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing supermarket chain, is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to support its HR Administration department. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team on a temporary 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries related to occupational pensions, contracts, assignments, and health insurance.
- Maintain and monitor employee time records.
- Ensure secure storage and compliance of employee documents in line with data protection regulations.
- Track and follow up on time-sensitive documents (e.g., work and residence permits).
- Respond to queries via the internal help hotline and compile relevant statistics.
- Process travel expense claims and employee receivables, escalating unclear issues to supervisors.
- Support legal reporting and certification processes (e.g., parental leave, long-term absence).
- Assist in preparing exit documentation and maintaining tax/social security data.
Data Administration
- Manage and maintain employee data, including updates to master records.
- Conduct checks for completeness of new hire documentation and follow up on missing items.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of personal and employment documents.
- Create employment references and certificates.
- Process sick notes and input data into HR systems.
- Maintain complete and organised employee files.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate may be required to carry out other duties as directed by the line manager to meet operational needs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
