The Role:
- Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their learning goals
- Assist with classroom activities, preparation of resources, and behaviour management
- Encourage pupil engagement and promote a positive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's values
The Ideal TA:
- Has previous experience working as a TA or supporting children in an educational setting
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping young learners
- Is proactive, reliable, and works well as part of a team
- Holds relevant qualifications or has transferable experience
- Lives locally to Dartford or can easily commute to the area
