- Must hold either a Level 3 qualification - or a minimum of 5 years' occupational experience - within: Hospitality Management OR SEN/D (as a Teaching Assistant or Support Worker).
- Must possess a passion for supporting learners with additional complex needs.
- Confident to deliver in a classroom and 1:1 setting.
- Willingness to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training - fully funded and supported by the employer.
- Must be IT literate.
- You will support a caseload of SEN Apprentices, and deliver engaging training sessions within a classroom and online environment.
- Design and deliver internal training to your colleagues, to ensure best practice is delivered to SEN learners.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
