Hours;

Week 1: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Week 2: 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & Friday 8am- 1pm

As our Health & Safety Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and maintaining a proactive safety culture across multiple sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Health & Safety Inspections & site walk rounds
  • Developing and updating toolbox talks, procedures, policies, and safe systems of work
  • Leading emergency evacuation drills and COSHH arrangements
  • Managing first aid and DSE systems
  • Tracking and reporting on H&S KPIs and accident/near miss data
  • Completing risk assessments and leading audits for continuous improvement
  • Driving improvements in Health & Safety systems

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Health & Safety professional who has:

  • Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment (ideal but not essential)
  • A NEBOSH qualification (minimum)
  • Proven experience in a management role within health and safety
  • Strong working knowledge of H&S processes
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • The ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • A full UK driving licence
