Job Description:We are seeking a proactive and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2025. This dual-role position involves supporting a Year 1 class in the mornings and providing general support across the school in the afternoons.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a primary setting, can assess children's learning needs, and uses initiative to plan and lead group tasks that encourage participation and progress.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- A relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 2 or 3 desirable).
- Good understanding of the primary curriculum and early years development.
- Ability to assess children's needs and adapt approaches to suit.
- Strong initiative and creativity in delivering engaging group activities.
