Teaching Assistant (Y4-Y5) - Darwen

Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract Type: Long-term placement

Veritas Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4-5 class in Darwen. This role requires strong experience working with pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, providing both classroom support and targeted interventions.

Applicants must have:

A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Proven experience supporting SEMH students
Ability to build positive relationships and manage challenging behaviour
A proactive and adaptable approach

Safeguarding & Application Requirements:
Enhanced DBS, references, and full employment history for the last 10 years are required. Legal right to work in the UK.
