Your new companyI am currently working with a small retail organisation based in Darwen, who are actively recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team. - Working in a rounded Finance role including elements of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Payroll.
- Processing invoices, statement reconciliations and payment runs.
- Payroll for a small number of employees: end to end, including processing pay and regular reports producing.
- Manage stock and ordering processes.
- Managing utilities and making amendments where necessary.
- Collaborating with a team of 8 people to ensure all elements of day-to-day finance are completed.
- All general administration work as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or a similar role.
- Proactive and hard-working with a can-do attitude.
- Proficiency working on finance systems, Sage experience is desirable but not essential.
- Competency with Excel.
