VAN DRIVER

Shift: WORKING 3 - 4 DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY - SATURDAY: START TIMES 05.00 - 06.00

Pay Rate: £12.51 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in the Daventry area.

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £12.51 per hour

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a Van Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Multi-Drop Deliveries of white goods
• Working as part of a two-person team
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills:

As a Van Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Category B vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Must have good knowledge of UK road network
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills

Desirable Experience:

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience of home deliveries would be beneficial

Training:

• Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
