Learning Support Assistant - Full Time (Primary)

Location: Daventry (NN11)
Hours: Full time, term time

We are currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Daventry who are looking to appoint a full-time Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.

This is a lovely opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a supportive, inclusive school environment where pupils are encouraged to feel confident, safe and ready to learn.



The Role

You will be supporting children with additional needs across the primary age range, working closely with class teachers and the wider support team. The role will involve a mix of 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils to engage with learning, develop independence and build positive relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs within the classroom and in intervention sessions

  • Assisting with adapted learning activities and resources

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social development

  • Helping pupils feel settled, supported and confident throughout the school day

  • Working collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress
