WORKING FOUR DAYS PER WEEK BETERWEEN MONDAY - SATURDAY: 05:00 STARTS (ROTA PROVIDED AFTER TRIAL PERIOD)

£12.51 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Daventry, West MIDLANDS.

Rates of Pay

• £12.51 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Two-person delivery of white goods
• Operate and drive various 3.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of goods as needed

Essential Skills

As a 3.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category B vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Must have good knowledge of UK road network
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
• Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
• Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
• Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

Training

• Full training given onsite by delivery team
