The School and Role
A primary school in Daventry is seeking a committed 121 Teaching Assistant to support a EYFS pupil with an EHCP. This part-time, long-term role (3.5 days per week) is ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted, personalised support. The school has a supportive team and a positive ethos. Driving is preferred due to the school’s rural location.

You must be reliable and have a history of minimal absence as this child needs to build a relationship with the successful candidate. 

Requirements
The desired 121 Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Proven experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour

  • Strong understanding of working with children with EHCPs

  • Experience in UK primary schools

  • Excellent communication and resilience

  • Team Teach training (or willingness to complete it) is an advantage

  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport is preferred
