A longstanding UK manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join their team at a well-established site in Daventry.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to step into a varied and hands-on maintenance role, working on a range of production and plant equipment in a busy, safety-led manufacturing environment. The business continues to invest in its site and people, offering solid training and a long-term progression path.

The Role:

  • Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site infrastructure
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults; some electrical knowledge beneficial
  • Work to PPM schedules and maintain detailed service records
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support uptime and efficiency
  • Champion a safe and clean working environment and support CI activity

About You:

  • Mechanically biased engineer with experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Comfortable with fault-finding and breakdown response
  • Proactive, reliable, and confident working alone or as part of a small team
  • Some electrical understanding would be advantageous
