Our client is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Officer to join their expanding team.
The role requires a couple of years' experience in a purchasing role, preferably within an engineering company.
Key responsibilities include liaising with suppliers, negotiating prices, and maintaining purchase order details.
The position offers a salary of £30,000, along with benefits such as 25 days annual leave and a 4% employer pension contribution.
The company specializes in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Electrical/Mechanical Services and values a family-type atmosphere.

What will you be doing?• You will be responsible for liaising with suppliers and negotiating prices, • Organising deliveries to customers, other stores or engineers' addresses, • Entering and maintaining purchase order details into the system, • Signing all deliveries from suppliers, • Keeping a tools record of engineers, • Maintaining a tidy workshop area, • Keeping a stock of main parts within the building. Where will you be doing it?• Our client is a privately owned company that has worked in the industry for over 25 years, they specialise in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Electrical/Mechanical Services, providing installation, service and spares. What you'll need:• A couple of years' experience in a purchasing role, preferably within an engineering company, • Good negotiation skills, • Excellent communication skills, • Good organisation skills.
