Seeking: Service Technician / Electronics Technician / Repair Technician

Are you a highly competent Technician with Electrical/Electronic qualifications? Do you enjoy the challenge of fault finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving down to the component level? Are you willing to learn and provide excellent, professional customer service over email and the telephone?

If so, we are looking for you to provide expert repair, service, and calibration on a variety of precision equipment, including:

  • Portable Analysers (Gas/Emissions/Flue)
  • Monometers and Pressure Gauges
  • Leak Detectors
  • Other Test and Measurement Equipment

Essential Requirements of the Service Technician / RepairĀ Technician

  • Electrical/Electronic qualifications (e.g., Degree, Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Proven Fault Find / Troubleshooting / Problem Solving experience with electronic circuits.
  • Ability to solder with a good eye for detail and precision.
  • A true hands-on technician who enjoys diagnosing faults and likes to fix things.
  • A passion for learning and taking ownership of technical challenges.
  • Able to provide high-quality customer support via the telephone and email.

Desirable Requirements of the Service Technician / Repair Technician

  • Previous experience with gas detection, gas instrumentation, or analytical equipment.

Benefits

  • 20 days holiday + bank holiday
  • Pension - 5% employee 3% employer contributionĀ 
  • 38 hours per week – core hours are Monday - Thursday 8 - 4.30pm and Friday 8 - 2.30pm.
