Salary: £10.42 per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Daventry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Warehouse Duties:

   • Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
   • Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
   • Sorting and organizing products within the warehouse.
   • Keeping the warehouse clean and well-maintained.

2. Quality Control:

   • Inspecting products for defects and damages.
   • Reporting any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.

3. Stock Management:

   • Recording incoming and outgoing stock.
   • Conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.

4. Team Collaboration:

   • Working collaboratively with team members to achieve daily targets.
   • Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

5. Health and Safety:

   • Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
   • Using equipment and machinery safely and responsibly.

6. Efficiency and Productivity:

   • Striving to meet and exceed productivity targets.
   • Identifying areas for improvement in warehouse processes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
