We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
  • Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to during food preparation and production.
  • Assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items, contributing creative ideas to enhance our offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry station, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Skills
  • Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or bakery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food preparation.
  • Proficient in various culinary techniques related to baking and pastry production.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
